MUNCHIES IN THE BAY

Where: United Service Station, Eli Waters.
What: Go along and check out a display of local cars from hot rods to motorbikes. Just go for a look or put your pride and joy on show. Everyone is invited to join in a cruise down the Esplanade at the conclusion of the event. There is a food van and refreshments available.
TOOGOOM EASTER FAIR
When: Friday, 8am and 1pm.
Where: Toogoom Community Hall, Toogoom Rd, Toogoom.
What: There will be the traditional Easter parade, kids craft and activities, kids craft and activities, an Easter egg hunt, egg and spoon races and plenty of market stalls.
BURRUM HEADS EASTER FISHING CLASSIC
When: Friday to Sunday.
Where: Lions Park, Burrum Heads.
What This year, there is more than $40,000 worth of prizes and raffles up for grabs. Families can sign on for the event from 7am to 4pm on Good Friday and 7am to noon on Easter Saturday.

POONA FISHING COMPETITION
When: Begins midnight on Friday and goes through to Sunday.
Where: Poona Centenary Hall, Snapper Dr, or boat ramp at the end of Owen Cox St.
What: Enjoy a car show, drinks, food music and fishing at the Poona Family Fishing Competition.
Cost: Seniors $20, juniors/toddlers $5.
LENNON BROS CIRCUS
When: Up to twice daily performances until April 10.
Where: Seafront Oval, Pialba.
What: See lions, donkeys, monkeys and lamas perform with acrobats, clowns and more.
Cost: Tickets for the two hour show are up to $45 adult and $35 child, but prices vary.
PIER PARK COMMUNITY MARKETS
When: Saturday, 7am to 1pm.
Where: Pier Park, Urangan.
What: The former Pier Up-Markets are now the Pier Park Community Markets, operating each Saturday in the same location.
HERVEY BAY PARK RUN
When: Saturday, 7am.
Where: Lions Park, Esplanade, Urangan
What: It is a 5km run. It's you against the clock.
NORTH COAST CAMPOUT
When: Saturday to Monday, 9 to 2pm daily.
Where: Maryborough Showgrounds, Bruce Hwy.

What: Whether you are a local or a visitor to beautiful Hervey Bay, a visit to the Torquay Beachside Markets should be on your to-do list. This popular and busy market is on a tranquil paved area of the foreshore. There are plenty of stalls offering top quality, wonderful and unique products.
EASTER FAIR AND HARMONY DAY
When: Saturday from 10 to 3pm.
Where: Scarness Stage area, The Esplanade, Scarness.
What: The Arabian Night and Bollywood Dreams dance troupe will entertain and a foam gun on the beach promises fun. The Easter bunny will also visit, as will Olaf, Peppa Pig and Shaun the Sheep.
GATAKERS BY NIGHT
When: Saturday, 5 to 9pm.
Where: Gatakers Art Space, 311 Kent St, Maryborough.
What: Soul City will perform music from Michael Buble to Beyonce. There will also be artist demonstrations, wood-fired pizzas, hot food, coffee and desserts. A free tour by the Nightwatchman, from the Maryborough Military and Colonial Museum, will happen from 7pm.

WALK WITH RAMBLERS

What: Join the Hervey Bay Ramblers at ESA Park for an Easter Sunday walk along the beach or the walking paths before enjoying a social BYO morning tea. MELSA TRAINS AND SUNDAY IN THE PARK
When: Sunday, 9am to 1pm.
Where: Queens Park, Maryborough.
What: Weather permitting, MELSA will hold its run with its miniature trains. The Replica Steam Train the Mary Ann will be running on the riverside track. There will be face painting available for a small cost. Excelsior City Band will play in the Rotunda and operate a sausage sizzle/barbecue, drinks and coffee. Closed-in shoes must be worn.
