Three new coronavirus cases confirmed on Coast
THREE new patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus on the Sunshine Coast, bringing the region’s total to 10 cases confirmed.
Queensland Health released the information this afternoon, with the patients among 40 other confirmed cases in the state.
This brings the Queensland total to 184.
The patients consist of 15 males and 25 females between the ages of 19 and 83, yet no specific details were released for the three Coast cases.
Contact tracing is under way for the 40 new cases.
Queensland Health will notify the community if any other public health alerts are required.
The majority of cases are from patients who have travelled overseas, or have had direct contact with a confirmed case who had travelled overseas.
