
Two in hospital after late-night snake bites
A child and a woman were rushed to hospital on Tuesday night after two separate snake bite incidents on the Coast.
A Queensland Ambulance Service representative said paramedics were first called to a location off David Low Way at Peregian Beach about 8.55pm.
A boy reportedly suffered a snake bite to the foot and was taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.
The representative said paramedics attended a second snake bite incident at a private property in Conondale about 10.15pm.
A woman was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
