United can move up the table with win against Jets

FOOTBALL: United Warriors can return to second on the Fraser Coast League Ladies Division 1 table if they can beat KSS Jets on Friday night.

The Warriors dropped to third after last week's 2-1 loss to Tinana and Bayside Strikers' 3-0 win against Sunbury.

But Bayside's bye puts United in full control of its position on the table with just five games left to play. KSS has just the two wins to its name this season, but the last game between the side - in round 11 on June 15 - ended in a 2-2 draw.

Tinana plays Sunbury at Maryborough's Federation Park Field in the other game.

Both games kick off at 8.15pm.
