Unlicensed driver rolls car on M'boro-Hervey Bay Rd

A MAN has rolled his car while driving without a licence in Hervey Bay in the early hours of Sunday.

Police were called to the accident on the Hervey Bay-Maryborough Rd about 1.30am on Sunday.

The 22-year-old male driver received minor head injuries that were treated by an ambulance at the scene.

A spokeswoman for Hervey Bay Police said while the man's blood alcohol reading of .047 was under the legal limit, the fact that he does not have a licence means he has a limit of zero.

The man was charged with drink-driving and unlicensed driving and will appear in court.
