A SECOND Domino's on the Fraser Coast has drawn a mixed reaction from our Facebook community with ideas including longer opening hours for nightclub goers.

The new store, that has seafront views along the Esplanade, will deliver up to 40 jobs and is set to open early next week.

WHAT YOU'RE SAYING ON FACEBOOK

Jason Loft: Jobs are always a good thing.

Roz Molyneaux: I hope the Pizzas improve, they used to be yummy, but the last couple of ones I had put me off the brand name.

Christine Hogan Without "key tenants" and franchise stores such as Dominoes, McDonalds, Woolworths, Coles and Aldi (to name but a few) shopping center owners and their shareholders alike would have Buckley's chance of filling their surrounding smaller specialty shop tenancies...big business operators only enhance confidence for much smaller enterprises to take the chance to tenant, invest and expand.

Skyanne Miller They should keep it open for when everyone comes out of the clubs they can go and get pizza.

When it comes to flavour, our online reader's are all for a good meat lovers pizza.

Domino's store owner Tom Walker said his team had been "hiring like crazy" to fill in the new store's array of casual customer service, management and delivery positions.

His four stores across Hervey Bay and Bundaberg will employ more than 150 people in the Wide Bay by March, he said.

While the majority of the Torquay shop positions have already been filled, delivery driver jobs at both Hervey Bay stores are still open for application on a continuing basis.

"We (currently) push for above 500 deliveries a week, most weeks," Mr Walker said.
