WEATHER: What to expect for first week of spring on Coast

IT was a cool start to the first Monday of spring on the Fraser Coast with minimums dropping to 12 degrees in the early hours of the morning.

But the cool start won't last long with temps expected to warm up to 24 degrees for Hervey Bay and 25 degrees in Maryborough, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

It looks like it could be a showery week with the bureau predicting a shower or two throughout the working week and into the weekend on the Fraser Coast with temperatures averaging much the same as Monday for the remainder of the week.

South South Westerly winds were blowing 13km/h at 6am.
