FOOD & DRINK: What's open/closed/doing takeaway on Coast
MANY businesses face closure as of Monday after Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced the force closures of non-essential services across the country to start at noon yesterday.
The Chronicle will update this list of which business will be staying open, who is closing and who is offering takeaway as the situation develops.
CLUBS, CAFES, RESTAURANTS
1. The Boat Club
The Boat Club in Urangan will not open their doors until further notice after the announcement to close Sunday night.
2. Beach House Hotel
Bistro closed as of Monday. From Tuesday, takeaway orders can be placed via bottle shop. Special menu on their website.

3. The Carriers Arms Hotel
As above. Will offer their full menu, available on the website from 11.30am-2.30pm and dinner 5.30pm-8.30pm. Read more here
4. Hervey Bay RSL

5. Maryborough RSL
The Maryborough RSL is closed.
6. The Bayswater Hotel
The Bayswater Hotel is closed.
7. The Club House Hervey Bay
The Club House Hotel has closed as of midday Monday.
8. Eat at Dan and Stephs
Eat at Dan and Steph's has closed as of midday Monday. Read more here.
9. Coffee Central on 7th
Coffee Central on 7th will be open all week 7.30am to 1pm for takeaway orders only.
10. Enzo's on the Beach
Enzo's on the Beach will remain open but for take away orders and home delivery only.
The entire menu will be available for take away and home delivery by calling 4124 6375.
The cafe won't be accepting cash so all orders will need to be paid via card over the phone when ordering.
11. Alowishus Delicious
Alowishus Delicious will remain open for takeaway and catering orders. Read more here.
Bean Beat will remain open seven days a week but have changed their opening hours until further notice.
The seafront location will be open 6am until 2pm and their Scarness store will be open 6am to noon.
13. Salt Cafe
Salt Cafe closed as of midday Monday.
The Salt team are looking into offering takeaway options in coming days.
14. Giovanni's Pizza Bar
Giovanni's Pizza Bar will be open for dinner seven days a week for takeaway and delivery only. They are having issues with their landline phone so please contact them on 0412 440 920.
15. Mum's Charcoal and Grill
Mum's Charcoal and Grill will be open as normal for takeaway only for the rest of the week.

16. Minimalist Coffee Roasters
Minimalist Coffee Roasters will remain open but with reduced hours. Their new opening hours are 6.30am to 10.30am Monday to Friday and 7am to 10.30 on Saturdays.
17. Echo Alpha Tango
Echo Alpha Tango will remain open with adjusted opening hours and different menu options.
18. Vinvero's Espresso
Vinvero's Espresso cut hours back to 6am-1pm, Tuesday to Saturday, with a coffee only service from 6am-10am Sunday and Monday. All orders will be takeaway only. Read more here.
19. Retro Espresso
Retro Espresso, Scarness, will continue to operate as usual.
20. Palavas les Flots
Palavas les Flots restaurant in Torquay will maintain its regular hours of noon-2pm and 5.30pm-9pm, offering takeaway service only. Read more here.
21. Cheryl-Lyn's Cafe
Cheryl-Lyn's Cafe is open for takeaway orders 6.30am to 1.30pm and 5pm to 7.30pm.

23. Aquavue Cafe Watersports
For the first time in 15 years, Aquavue's cafe and restaurant will close until further notice.
They will be operating out of the coffee van and watersports will still go ahead as usual.
24. Orchid Beach Trading Post and Driftwood Bar
The pub will stop trading but the store will remain open, offering fuel. The bottle shop will also stay open.
25. Torquay Hotel
Hotel closed until further notice but bottle shops still open. This includes the Liquor Warehouse behind the hotel and Cheers Urangan bottle shop.
26. Wild Lotus
Closed until further notice.
- Snap Fitness
Snap Fitness will lock their doors from 12pm yesterday.
The club posted on their Facebook page that all members have had there membership payments suspended until further notice.
- Anytime Fitness
Anytime Fitness will close their doors from midday yesterday until further notice.
The Anytime Fitness Hervey Bay manager said on the gym's Facebook account that he will be working remotely and can develop programs and offer support if contact via email or on Facebook.
- Maryborough Fitness Health & Bodyworks
Maryborough Fitness Health & Bodyworks are closed until further notice.
