Wide Bay MP leads condolence motion for Nelson Mandela
WIDE Bay MP Warren Truss has led a condolence motion in Federal Parliament for Nelson Mandela, who died on Friday.
Mr Truss is acting Prime Minister as PM Tony Abbott attends Mr Mandela's funeral in South Africa.
The Maryborough-based MP honoured Mr Mandela on Monday as a freedom fighter who became a national healer and a prisoner who became president.
Mr Mandela's funeral will be held Tuesday in Johannesburg.
