A WOMAN was bitten by a snake on Fraser Island over the weekend.
She was transported to hospital from Happy Valley Drive via marine rescue about 9.15pm on Sunday.

The woman, in her 40s, was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital for treatment where she was in a stable condition.
